i love the colors and contrasts in this photo. i think the way he chose to crop this photo is perfect. there's not too much or too little of anything, he gave us enough to see what was going on but not too much so it would keep us wondering. i think he wanted the audience to make their own stories up to go along with the photo...he also balanced it well with the car on the left side and the bold pole on the right.

i think egglestons work was to simply show the age in which he lived and to show it in an artistic way. i think he was trying to show this period in time because he didnt go around posing people and objects, he just took them as they looked and moved on.

My expectations

I am hoping to gain a better understanding of all the manual features of my camera and to learn how to adjust my settings to get exactly what I want every time. I am also hoping to learn more in-depth about photoshop programs to edit my photos.
